Shall I start using the QCY Melobuds with the ear tips that are attached to the earbuds?
​
Your QCY Melobuds come with 3 different sizes of ear tips - Small, Medium (attached to earbuds) & Large. We strongly recommend that after connecting your earbuds (as explained below), please try out all the ear tips to see which one works best for passive noise cancellation & fits best in your ear canal.
How to pair my QCY Melobuds / HT-05 device for the first time with a Mobile / Laptop?

Remove the protective cover from the earbuds connector points.

Place the earbuds in the charging case. Usually, if there is some battery power available in the charging case, the earbuds’ LED will light up.

Make sure your QCY Melobuds / HT-05 is fully charged before beginning this process.

Pick up both the earbuds, pop them back in case then close the lid to activate them.
-
Open the lid and pick up both earbuds and they will auto-power on.
-
Turn ON the Bluetooth either on mobile or laptop.
-
Make sure your mobile or laptop and the Bluetooth Earphones are within a 1-meter range.
-
Go to add devices in your Bluetooth settings.

Search and Select QCY Melobuds ANC. In case you are unable to see the earbuds’ name on your device’s Bluetooth settings, long press the button on the charging case till such time that the LED light on it starts blinking.

On your mobile or laptop, search for QCY Melobuds ANC and tap to connect.

Power on earbuds and it will auto-reconnect to the last phone in connectivity records if any
Note:
-
Press and hold the power button of your mobile phone to restart the device because at times restarting your mobile device resolves the issue.

If the earbud's name is not visible on Bluetooth search, try it out with another mobile.

If it is still not visible, please reset the QCY Melo buds / HT-05 device by long pressing the button on the charging case till such time that the LED light on it starts blinking.
How to switch paired devices?

Make sure your QCY Melobuds / HT-05 is fully charged before beginning this process.
-
Push the earbuds into the case, open the lid and press & hold the charging case button for 3sec or until the LEDs of the earbuds start blinking and then pick up the earbuds.

On the device search for QCY Melobuds ANC and tap to connect.
-
Earbuds cannot get connected to two phones at the same time.
-
Earbuds will auto-reconnect to the last phone in the connectivity record if any.

How to reset my QCY Melobuds / HT-05 device?

Make sure your QCY Melo buds /HT-05 are fully charged before beginning with the reset process.
-
Push the earbuds into the case and keep pressing the button on the case for 10sec or until LED blinks WHITE 5 times on the earbuds.
-
After factory reset, earbuds will auto pair with each other and turn connectable to the phone when picked up.
-
Do not take out the earbuds from the charging case during the process.

How to Unpair from the mobile device?

Tap and hold the Bluetooth icon on your mobile.
-
Tap on the QCY Melobuds / HT-05.
-
Forget / Delete QCY Melobuds / HT-05 from paired Bluetooth devices.

Why my earbuds are getting disconnected frequently?
​
-
Make sure your earbuds and the mobile device are within the 10m range of each other.
-
A low battery level may cause device disconnection from the mobile.
-
If the battery level is less than 5%, please charge the earbuds.
-
If the battery level is more than 5% proceed further.
-
There could be a possibility of an issue with your mobile as well hence check your earbuds with a different mobile device too.

If that still does not resolve, please reach out to our WhatsApp Helpline or nearby authorized service centre for necessary support.
Why am I facing no / low sound in QCY Melobuds / HT-05 device?

Make sure your earbuds and the mobile device are within the 10m range of each other.
-
Increase the volume from your mobile device and QCY Melobuds / HT-05.
-
A low battery level may cause device disconnection from the mobile.
-
If the battery level is less than 5%, please charge the earbuds.
-
If the battery level is more than 5% proceed further.
-
It may be due to issues with the music player/app, try playing the same track with a different music player/app to notice a difference or it could be an issue with the mobile device.

If that still does not resolve, please reach out to our WhatsApp Helpline or nearby authorized service centre for necessary support.
Why am I getting a distorted sound in my QCY Melobuds / HT-05 device?

Make sure your earbuds and the mobile are within 10 meters range.
-
If you are streaming the music Online make sure the internet connection is excellent and stable.
-
Try changing the streaming quality to the maximum for better sound quality.
-
If there is a sound distortion during the normal call, it could be a network-related issue too.
-
If there is a distortion in the music, change the network / Wi-Fi and check the streaming quality.

If that still does not resolve, please reach out to our WhatsApp Helpline or nearby authorized service centre for necessary support.
Why one of my earbuds is not working?

Please check whether one side is getting charged or not.
-
There could be a possibility of an issue with your mobile as well hence check your earbuds with a different mobile device too.
-
You may try to reset your earbuds. If that still does not work please reach out to our WhatsApp Helpline or nearby authorized service centre for necessary support.
Reset Process:
-
Make sure your QCY Melobuds / HT-05 is fully charged before beginning the reset process.
-
Push the earbuds into the case and keep pressing the button on the case for 10sec or until LED blinks WHITE 5 times on the earbuds.
-
After factory reset, earbuds will auto pair with each other and turn connectable to the phone when picked up.
-
Do not take out the earbuds from the charging case during the process.
How to charge my QCY Melobuds / HT-05 device?
​
Note: Kindly ensure that there is no protective cover on the charging pins of the earbuds.
Charging using laptop/computer:
​

Put the earbuds inside the charging case as indicated like Left & Right.
-
Using the C-type USB cable received with the product; connect the Charging case with the charging cable to the USB port on the laptop/computer.
-
Make sure that your PC/laptop is turned ON and not in sleep / hibernate mode.
-
If it still doesn't work try with a different USB port on your laptop/computer just to cross-check the issue with the USB port else try a power adapter.
-
LED will blink BLUE when the charging case is charging and turn SOLID BLUE once it is fully charged.
-
If the earbuds are left unused for over two weeks, please recharge.
-
Don’t store the earbuds in extreme temperatures under ZERO degrees C / above 45 degrees C
Charging using an adapter:

Connect the charging case with the USB Type-C cable received with the product and connect it to a USB Type-C adaptor.
-
Make sure that the wall socket is functioning properly and not loose or damaged.
-
If it still doesn't work try to charge from a different wall socket.
-
If the earbuds still don't charge try with a different USB cable that is suitable to connect to your earbuds charging port just to clarify whether the issue is from your current charging cable.

LED will blink BLUE when the charging case is charging and turn SOLID BLUE once it is fully charged.
-
If the earbuds are left unused for over two weeks, please recharge fully.
Why am I getting low bass in my earbuds?
​

Ensure cleaning of earbuds using a completely dry & soft cloth or tissue.
-
Ensure ideal size ear tips for your need.
-
Make sure your earbuds are snugly placed inside your ear canal.
-
Check Volume. Keeping a high volume and for a longer duration is not advisable.
-
Check Battery level.
-
Check streaming quality
Are there any delays/lag while playing audio/video?
​
It could be due to usage environment, network and/or the mobile device CODEC supported by your device.
We suggest that you use the AAC HD Audio Codec mode if using an Android Phone or iPhone to experience minimum latency.
What is the battery life of my QCY Melobuds / HT-05 device?
​
4 hrs of calling / 7.5 hrs of playback / 30 hrs of life (ANC OFF).
3.5 hrs of calling / 6 hrs of playback / 24 hrs of life (ANC ON).
What are all the various options for touch control?
​

To power on earbuds – Keep pressing the touch panel for 1.5 sec.
-
To power off earbuds – Push earbuds back into the case.
-
To pause or resume playing - Double press the left / right touch panel of the earbuds panel.
-
To answer or end a call – Double press either one of the earbuds to the touch panel.
-
To activate the voice assistant – Triple press the left touch panel of the earbud.
-
To skip track forward – Triple press the right touch panel of the ear bud.
-
To ignore the call – Keep pressing either one of the earbuds touch panel for 1.5s.
-
To activate gaming mode – Keep pressing the left touch panel for 1.5s.
-
To activate ANC mode – Keep pressing the right touch panel of the earbud for 1.5s to switch between ANC normal and Transparency modes
What are all the colour options available for the QCY Melobuds / HT-05 device?
​
It is available in two colour variants – Black & White.
If the earbuds are not fitting properly in my ears. How to resolve my issue?
​
QCY-HT-05 device comes with multiple ear tips like Small / Medium & Large along your purchase. You may choose the one which is comfortable for you.
It is advisable to choose medium ear tips first as they fit most people.
How to check battery level and charging indications?
​

The battery level of the case is > 20% - LED will glow WHITE.
-
The battery level of the case is < 20% - LED will glow RED.
-
LED on earbuds will turn SOLID RED when earbuds are charging and turn WHITE for 30 sec once they are completely charged.
-
LED on the case will turn SOLID RED when the case is charging and turn SOLID WHITE once it is completely charged.
